Then take a moment of your time to find out about the Hotel Nautico Ebeso, a better-than-average three star property located on the Figueretas seafront, next door to the Sud and approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the old town.

Now in its third year on Respect’s books, and already attracting a particularly high level of repeat business (the best recommendation of all, we reckon) the 123 room Ebeso’s general facilities are extensive and include a large pool surrounded by sun terraces, a 24 hour reception, a lounge bar, pretty gardens and a restaurant.

it's here in the restaurant where you’ll wolf down your continental breakfast and your buffet style evening meal. Maid service and towel change takes place every day, while your bed linen is replaced twice a week.

There are two lifts which will whisk you to your air conditioned room, which incorporates an ensuite bathroom, twin beds, satellite TV and a phone. There are great views out to sea from your room’s balcony, but these rooms do cost a little more. Those rooms without a sea view don’t have balconies and it goes without saying that it’s these sea view rooms which sell out first, leaving disorganised latecomers to rough it in a room without a balcony.
